The Driftless Writing Center's casual drop-in Connect & Write writing sessions will once again bring you extra sessions in November with our "Write More November" program. Write a novel, pull together that poetry chapbook, explore your cross-genre ambitions, or focus on a single essay. Simply set a goal—any goal—for November and join us for daily writing sessions in support of that goal.

We'll start every "Write More November" session with a check-in where every participant has the opportunity to state a writing intention for that day. Then we'll write for 25 minutes, take a 5-minute break, and write for another 25 minutes. We'll end by giving each individual a chance to comment on how the writing session went. Then in December, we'll schedule a virtual open mic so participants can share what they worked on in November.

DWC instructors for “Write More November”: Lisa Henner, Mark MacAllister, and Erin Malone.

Our friends at Arts + Literature Laboratory in Madison host the Thursday and Sunday writing sessions. To learn more and to register for their sessions, click here.
