The Driftless Writing Center's casual drop-in “Connect & Write” sessions will continue throughout 2023 on the schedule above. Write a novel, pull together that poetry chapbook, explore your cross-genre ambitions, or focus on a single essay. Please join us whenever you can to work toward your writing goals!

We'll start every "Connect & Write" session with a check-in, where every participant has the opportunity to state a writing intention for that day. Then we'll write for 25 minutes, take a 5-minute break, and write for another 25 minutes. We'll end our time together by giving each individual a chance to comment on how the writing session went.

Current DWC facilitators for “Connect & Write” sessions are Lisa Henner, Mark MacAllister, and Erin Malone.

Our friends at Arts + Literature Laboratory in Madison host the Thursday and Sunday writing sessions. To learn more and to register for their sessions, click here.
