U.S. Poet Laureate Ada Limón Live Broadcast Watch Party

Brought to you by the Driftless Writing Center in partnership with Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters.

Thursday, May 23 from 7:00-8:30PM

Location: Vernon County History Center and Museum, 410 S Center Ave, Viroqua, WI 54665

The Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and letters is bringing United States Poet Laureate Ada Limón to Madison's Overture Center for the Arts for her presentation "Poetry and the Natural World" and The Driftless Writing Center is hosting a live watch party of the event! Join us at the Vernon County Historical Society Museum on Thursday, May 23 where we will live stream Limón's presentation—beginning at 7:00 pm.

We'll provide snacks and beverages to enjoy as we watch and listen live to Limón's  examination of the connections between nature, the changing  environment, and poetry. Limón's presentation will be followed by a live Q&A session that engages both the in-person and virtual audiences. If you'd like to submit a question for the Q&A, please do so here before noon on Tuesday, May 21st.

Come join the Driftless Writing Center,  an official watch-party sponsor, for this wonderful event! Registration is not required, but a headcount is always helpful. If you plan to attend, please email us at DriftlessWritingCenter@gmail.com with the subject line: "Watch Party". We look forward to celebrating poetry and the natural world with you!
